Getting to Northampton Town Centre

Car Parking in Northampton Town Centre

The town centre boasts a number of council run and privately owned multi storey and ground car parks which are available for public use and all offer fantastic parking charges.

Visit one of Northampton Borough Council’s 21 managed car parks in and around the town centre, offering over 4,900 car parking spaces. Alternatively, there are also a number of well-positioned private pay and display car parks, including the car park on Hazelwood Road – a two minute walk from the town centre and five minutes from Northampton General Hospital.

Save money with the fantastic parking offers in Northampton’s car parks:

  • Hazelwood Road car park offers long and short stay options - £6.50 per day and £1 evening rate
  • Visitors can park for free every Saturday and Sunday in the council’s four multi-storey car parks at St John’s, St Michael’s, Mayorhold and The Grosvenor Centre
  • Up to two hours free parking on weekdays in the council’s four multi-storey car parks at St John’s, St Michael’s, Mayorhold and The Grosvenor Centre
  • Parking is free on Sundays and bank holidays in all Northampton Borough Council car parks.
